Works really well with my database projects. My old(ish) laptop used to struggle with complicated queries before, but now it works noticeably better.

This RAM Disk app is an excellent way of getting more years out of an old laptop. My laptop is seven years old and was getting too slow for doing all the normal daily stuff like web browsing. I thought I had to get a new one, which was totally not ideal as I've recently lost my job. But with this RAM Disk it works much faster now. I reckon I can easily get a couple more years out of it. This app is totally worth its price tag.

Perfect tool for me as I do a lot of rendering that creates enormous quantities of temp files.

I tried 3 different RamDisks and Softperfect appears to be the most stable and fastest of all. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and so far very happy with its performance and the improvements it brings. Conclusion: definitely worth its price tag.

This is a supercool tool. Does a great job saving your SSD from early death. My colleague and I were given identical laptops at work on the same day. I installed RAM Disk, he didn't. My laptop worked faster, he said I was just imagining it. His disk is died last week, taking a load of important data with it. Mine is still perfectly fine. Thanks Softperfect! I bet my colleague will use your RAMDisk from now on.
